Remembering Pongo

Today would have been Pongo's 16th birthday.

Time is such a funny thing...some days it feels like he has been gone for so long, while other days it seems like he should still be sitting in his spot on the couch when I walk in the room. Hard to believe it was less than a year ago when I found myself hoping and praying that he would make it to see his 15th birthday. And of course, he did...he did it for me.

I've been working on some special Pongo projects on and off over the summer. One of them was a hard cover press printed book. It turned out lovely, so I thought I would share some of the pages here...

I really do miss him terribly.

A wonderful tribute to Pongo! So glad I got to know him, even if it was just in cyberspace. I hope Pongo gets to meet my original spotties at the Rainbow Bridge, Dottie and Tigger. I think they'd be fast friends.

I'm going to go wipe these tears now...

You're right, time is a funny/weird thing. I've had many many things where I feel like it just happened or has been forever at the same time. Sometimes I feel like I've known my husband my entire life lol. It's weird.

Losing a dog is so hard. I wish you could still have him there with you on what would have been his 16th birthday. I love the book. It's a good tribute to him. Hugs!
