Weekend Smiles

The spotties and I had a great weekend! On Friday evening we took Indy to the dog beach at Ft. Desoto and she had a BLAST. I think these pictures pretty much say it all...

Ah, these images make me *SMILE*. I just love seeing her so happy! :)

On Sunday evening Peyton got to come with me out to the club where I photographed his best friends, Riley and Finn. He wasn't very happy about hanging out in the car while the Goldens modeled, but he did have a great time playing with them when we were done.

Peyton says Goldens taste like chicken...yum!

*LOVE*

And finally, a Golden sandwich!

Pongo didn't get to go anywhere fun this weekend, but he did get some marshmallow bunnies for Easter, which he loves. And all three spotties were spared the humiliation of posing with bunny ears this year...lucky them!

We hope all of our friends had a great weekend!

Cover Model!

Peyton's very best friend Riley is going to be famous! He's on the cover of summer 2009 issue of The GulfCoast DOG magazine which is now available online. Click here to view the latest issue, which also features a little surprise appearance by me and Indy. :)

I can't wait to see the magazine when it comes out in print...hopefully Peyton doesn't decide to eat my copy!

The Golden Gang

Yesterday evening I got to hang out with Peyton's bestest golden friends! Poor spotty boy didn't get to come along and he pretty much made his disappointment known by spending the night pouting. :)

I have sooo many golden pictures - these guys are really a photogenic bunch. And I have pictures of the new puppy Finn! He's waaaay too cute - *smoosh*!

You can see more golden pics over at my new blog - simplyspottedblog.com - but I had to share just a few here...

Puppy Envy

There's something about this time of year that always seems gives me a case of puppy fever, but this year is really bad since so many of my friends are getting puppies. It also doesn't help that I've been following several dalmatian puppy blogs and (IMO) there just isn't anything cuter than spotty puppies! *Sigh* I can't have a puppy. I can't have a puppy. But oh how do I looooove puppies. :)

I only took a few pictures at the trial this weekend, and of course they were of Finn, an uber-cute fluffly golden puppy. Isn't he just adorable?

And so he doesn't feel left out, here's a shot of Riley who is Finn's big brother (technically uncle) and Peyton's BFF, on an Excellent JWW course...

I can't have a puppy. I can't have a puppy. I can't have a puppy. I can't have a puppy...

Meet Riley

Labs always make me smile...they are just so happy - it's contagious! I had a wonderful time on Siesta Key yesterday morning with Riley and his family. It really was a case of perfect dog, perfect location!

Riley is loved by a big family that happens to be located all over the country. I really hope that they enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Hard to believe with a puppy face like this, but Riley is 11 years young! He was such a gentleman. Here are just a few of my favorites...

Carrot Balancing Act

Seriously, how could I not fall in love with a handsome yellow Lab who happens to have some awesome carrot balancing and catching talent? Meet Riley - more pics of this extremely sweet boy coming soon...

Sunday Snapshots

It's been a busy Sunday! This afternoon we stopped by an AKC agility trial in Palmetto, where I took a few pics of some of the spotties' best friends.

First is Sage...

Then Sophie...

And finally Peyton's very best bud, Riley...

When we got home the spotties were not too happy. I think Peyton could tell we saw Riley...he went crazy sniffing us. And Indy was mad that we went to a trial without her. So she did some some pouting while bathing in the sun...

And then this evening, I got too meet two more beautiful Vizslas and took a ton of photos, some of which I hope to share tomorrow. What a fun Sunday! :)
